Relaxed, fun family photo sessions in Blackheath, Greenwich and all of South East London
Perfectly suited to you and your loved ones, your bespoke session will run at your pace.
Family Photoshoots take between 1.5-2 hours and are for families of all shapes and sizes.
Try to book as early as possible, especially if you require a weekend session as I get booked up pretty quickly.
We have had several sessions with Cate over the years where she has taken some lovely photos of my kids,
both posed and more candid pictures.
I can't recommend her enough for family photos you will treasure forever
-Charlotte
Cate takes absolutely beautiful photos,
but more than that she takes time to get to know the families she is working with and to put them at ease.
She has taken some beautiful photos of my daughter and I would highly recommend her if you’re looking for a photographer!

How does it work?
First you pay the booking cost (50% of total cost) to hold your chosen time slot.
Then you pay the remaining 50% the day before your booked session.
The session will last 1.5-2 hours and allow time for snack and toilet breaks.
We'll meet somewhere sensible then go on a little adventure to find interesting backgrounds and things to play with.
I will then see you again a couple of weeks later so you can choose your favourite 5 or choose to upgrade your package.
You will view a fully edited gallery of 20-30 images for you to choose from.
I will then give you your chosen digital files and order your beautiful prints for you
You're then free to show your perfect new portraits off to everyone you know!
I'm honestly so pleased with how our family pictures turned out.
It was a grey, drizzly day and my children were behaving really badly so I didn't have high hopes for our pictures BUT they are amazing!
I don't know how she pulled it out the bag but Cate was incredible. Can't recommend her enough

FAQ
When should I book?
It's best to book as early as possible as I do get booked up quite quickly, especially weekend dates.
What if It's raining on the day of our planned outdoor session?
A grey day is brilliant and tiny bit of rain won't matter but if it's properly raining then we'll have to re-arrange for another day.
What if my child or myself are unwell on the day of our shoot?
Your booking fee is non-refundable but transferrable if you are unwell.
Just let me know as soon as you can and we can book you in for another day, you will not lose your booking fee.
Being a mother of two there's also a small chance I will have to re-arrange. We'll just have to be flexible with each other!.
Who can be included in our family shoot?
You can include as few or as many as you'd like!
Families come in all shapes and sizes.
You could be a couple wanting a romantic shoot for just the two of you or 16 relatives including uncles, aunts, grandpa and the dogs!
In large family groups we just need to allow more time for the shoot.
What kind of pictures will you take?
As with all my sessions, they're pretty bespoke and I'll do my best to give you all the images you've requested.
All family sessions include group pictures, couple shots, family shots, sibling shots and individual portraits.
Studio sessions tend to be more formal and posed where as outdoor sessions give us more candid images.
What if my children act up on the day?
Being a mother myself, I'm pretty much expecting all children to act up to a point and I'm prepared for that!
..but I have all the patience in the world for them because.. quite simply.. I love them.
Small children are my absolute #1 love and It never takes them long to warm up to me, the studio and
my camera so they will feel right at home with me.
Usually older children love getting involved in the pictures but sometimes they can also be a little hesitant.
I have less experience with teenagers but I've yet to lose a battle with one so I'm pretty confident with them.
What should I bring?
Spare clothes for everyone involved since you never know what'll happen.
For babies, Your usual baby outing things although I do have spares of most things at the studio if you forget.
Any special items that you'd like in the images eg special teddies or blankets.
How and when do we pay?
First I'll invoice you 50% of the bronze package to hold the session time for you.
I get booked up quite quickly and only by paying this first invoice are you guaranteed a session.
I'll then invoice you for the final 50% which is due the day before your session.
Sessions cannot commence until full payment is received.
You will have then payed for the full Bronze package and are in no way obliged to pay anything else unless you choose to upgrade your package.
You'll have your gallery viewing session 1 or 2 weeks after your session.
At this meeting you'll view a slideshow of your images and be able to observe the variety and quality of your images.
You'll choose which 5 images you'd like to keep or upgrade your package to include more digital images and prints.
You will also be able to see samples of wall art, frames, print boxes and books.
You will only have one free gallery viewing meeting so you should make sure that all decision makers are present.
Online galleries are not available and second gallery viewings are charged at £89.
Payments for package upgrades, wall art and products are made via the card machine at the meeting.
