Hi, I'm Cate, a fully trained and insured photographer.

Although laid back, I am fortunately/ unfortunately a perfectionist and I can 100% guarantee
you'd be happy with my service because I strive for perfection in every aspect of my business.

I blame my love and obsession with photography entirely on my parents
(I blame most things on them)

 Video cameras weren't common place 30 years ago but my dad, being an audio engineer had a professional video camera and recorded the funniest videos of my sisters and I growing up.

I also recently found out that my grandfather got into trouble with his in-laws for blowing all the wedding money on a very expensive camera so he could record my beautiful grandmother and their children growing up.

My mother prided herself on throwing us the best birthday parties and taking us on fun family holidays and we have stacks (and I mean stacks!) of photos to show for it.

I'll be eternally grateful for my parents insistence on recording occasions and capturing moments for us to look back on now, laugh, cry and most importantly so I can share these memories with my own two children.

I believe so strongly now In recording memories and want to help other families capture their own special moments whether that's goofing around the home, climbing trees in the park or having fun in the studio.

I've always been an artist (I can blame that on my mother too) painting and photographing people, wildlife and landscapes since I was a little.
Growing up in the beautiful Surrey hills and then the Sussex coast, inspiration was never far away. 

I have gained my formal qualifications in Art and Photography at The University of Sussex, The London college of fashion and the University of Westminster.

I've also been very lucky to have been trained by some of the best photographers in the UK.  

Taking newborn safety incredibly seriously, I constantly take up-to-date newborn safety training with specialists in the field.

Outside photography, I've also had successful careers in fashion merchandising and styling, dressing windows and designing concepts for some of the biggest retail brands in Europe.

I now specialise in providing Maternity, Newborn, Childrens and family portraits in Greenwich, South east London and beyond.

I also love working with artists, small businesses and schools. 

I'm a registered member of the SWPP, The biggest and most respected photographic organisation.
